Would you like to budget time for your projects and monitor progress?
With the "Business with time budget" app, you can define detailed times for each job.
Record and track employee time by job/product. Track business progress by mission phase, and trigger customer invoicing.
Activating this app adds :
- A new block for entering time by product, employee and period.
- A new page for statistical analysis of time spent on each job
1. Enter times per product on the case
The"Time budgets attached to this case" block on each case allows you to :
- Call up products/services from your catalog
- Designate a collaborator
- Choose the period (month)
- Indicate time budget in hours or 1/2 day
- Automatic summary of planned and actual times
These time entries make up the time budget.
Each employee's time sheet continues to record the time spent. By linking the time spent to the case and the product concerned, consumption reports are automatically generated.
2. Monthly time analysis
In the shortcut block for each case, a "View time budget analysis" link gives you access to an analysis table:
On this analysis table, select:
- Month to display
- A specific case (if clicked since the case), or all current cases or cases with a specific % of progress.
- An employee
Once your selection has been validated, the content displays the user's time list by case.
For each case, the table displays :
- Real-time budget total and per mission/product
- Total time budget consumed and per mission/product
- The % of time consumed, expressed as a percentage of the total planned time
- The % of time consumed per mission/product by all employees declaring time spent
- Time breakdown by mission/product
3. Input of actual progress
In the case, in the "Time budgets attached to this case" block, on each product line you can enter a percentage of completion.
This information will then be visible on your statistics table in the % Actual column.
4. Export
The app lets you export your time analysis tables.
An export link on the table allows you to export your data for analysis and further processing.
