Do you make export sales? Do you invoice in dollars or another currency and don't want to use today's exchange rate?
With the "Monthly exchange rates" app, set the exchange rate of your choice month by month
Replace the automatic currency conversion system with a fixed monthly exchange rate.
Installing the app lets you set the currency conversion rate you wish to apply to your export quotes and customer invoices.
1. Set monthly exchange rate
Go to the app's home page to customize your monthly rates.
To do this:
- Click on the link of the pair to be modified (example EUR/USD)
- Click on "Modify" on the line for the current month
- Pay monthly USD exchange rate for the equivalent of 1 EUR
- Confirm to save
If no rate has been set and the rate is needed for a document, an e-mail will be sent to the app administrator to ask him/her to fill in the rate, and in the meantime the current rate will be used for the document in progress.
To set the app administrator, go to the "app settings" tab and select the person you wish to notify from among the app users.
2. Apply monthly exchange rate
When creating a commercial document in dollars currency, the set monthly exchange rate is automatically applied.
If you convert an estimate made in month M into an invoice, the invoice will retain the exchange rate of the estimate.
