For your shipments, display and control your packaging!
With the Packing app, you can indicate the number of packages, pallets and packed weight per product and in total on your sales documents.
Activating the app adds the following new elements:
1. On customer delivery notes :
- On each product line: new "package", "pallet" and "packed weight" fields for entering the number of packages associated with the product shipment.
- On the PDF: number of packages, pallets and packed weight displayed per line and in total. The calculation of the number of packages and pallets is automatic. This information is added in the "delivery information" zone.
2. On price requests and supplier quotations and purchase orders:
- On each product line: new"package", "pallet" and"packed weight" fields for entering the number of packages associated with the product shipment.
- On the PDF: line-by-line display of number of packages, pallets and packed weight
- On the PDF: total display of number of packages and pallets
When a quotation is transformed into a supplier order or delivery note, the number of pallet packages and weight is recorded and transferred to the new part. If necessary, it can be changed by modifying the product line.
3. On product sheets
If you have activated the "Define packaging on products" setting, on each product sheet you will be able to enter :
- Number of products per box
- Number of cartons per pallet
For products entered, the number of cartons and pallets will be calculated automatically if you don't enter them yourself.
Similarly, when creating delivery notes (or other documents) from quotations, the number of cartons and pallets will be automatically updated according to product quantities.
