Do you sell products with variable purchase costs and want to take this information into account when calculating margins?
With the"Sales margin by item" app, enter the cost of your items when adding them to a quote or invoice, and get a margin calculation.
Activation of the app adds a new "Unit cost" field to each item line in your sales documents, giving the cost excluding VAT of the product invoiced.
- In this "Unit cost" field, enter the value of your cost price excluding VAT for one unit of product sold.

The application automatically calculates the total cost amount for the unit volume invoiced.
If you have set a cost price on your product sheet, entering your new unit cost takes priority. The initial cost is displayed crossed out.
This new field is available on the following sales documents:
- Quote
- Quantified delivery note
- Quantified work order
- Order confirmation
- Invoice
- Loan voucher
- insertion order
When you offer an item, if you enter its value in the "unit cost" field, this information is included in the calculation of your margin on the sale.
