Consumer preferences

Track your customers' consumer preferences

To get to know your customers better and put in place commercial offers that match their expectations, you want to record their purchasing preferences? Would you like to list and display their favorite products?

With the"Consumer Preferences" app, build your customers' purchasing profile to personalize your relationship and provide products and services tailored to their needs.

The app lets you know at a glance which items and product ranges are preferred by each of your customers!

Installing the app adds a new consumption "preferences" tab to the third-party files.

This tab lists the products purchased by the customer and details their preferred characteristics via the product custom fields.

This tab contains 2 levels of information:

  • Search: manually enter and save products and custom field values for customer-preferred products
  • History: to automatically display the products and custom field values of products invoiced to the customer

1. Manual product addition

The "Consumption preferences" tab on third-party records lets you add a list of products and/or the value of custom fields entered at the general product level.

The automatic addition of a manual product to the "Preferences" list is called "Specification".

When adding a product to the "consumer preferences" lists:

  • Call up the item: via the "Product" search field in the catalog;
  • In addition, if necessary, select product characteristics via custom fields by choosing their value.
  • Confirm to add

The use of custom fields is optional, you can just add the item.

The list of preferred products shows for each item :

  • Product name
  • Value (if associated custom fields)

Each product line can be modified with the "pencil" or deleted via the "recycle garbage can".

2. Automatic product addition

The addition of a product to the "consumption preferences" list occurs automatically each time an invoice is validated.

Draft invoices, i.e. "invoices to be issued", are not included in the customer's list of preferred products.

The list of products is "consolidated" and corresponds to the "History" type of invoicing for products registered as preferences.
Also, if the same item name is invoiced several times, with identical custom fields, a single line will be recorded in the history.

Example: if there are 20 invoices for customer A with the status "Sent" AND one of the products has custom fields such as: "Quality" = 8"; a single product line will be added to the preferences with the level "Quality = 8"; for saving a preference of Type = "History".

3. Billing

In the app's preferences tab, a setting lets you activate billing from the preferences. Once this is done, in the consumption preferences tab for each third party, you can then enter quantities, and click on the "Bill" button. An invoice containing the selected products and quantities will be issued, and even validated if you have chosen this option.
