Do you need to systematically integrate certain items into each of your customer orders?
Do you need to include negotiated shipping rates for each customer sale, and display them by default in your sales documents?
Use the"Automatic Products" app to configure items to be automatically included in orders or invoices for a particular customer.
List, for a contact or a company, the standard products with negotiated rates which are automatically added when creating any new quotation or invoice for this third party. When a new sales document is created, the items are automatically added.
By activating the app, you can manage the products with negotiated rates to be included on all a customer's quotes or invoices.
1. Designate items to be automatically integrated into a customer's sales documents
To define the list of items and prices to be added automatically when creating a new quote or invoice, go to the customer's contact or company file.
In the"Negotiated customer rates" block :
- Call up the item in your database
- Complete the negotiated price and quantity information
- Check the box "Product added to any new document".
- Add the item line to the list of negotiated rates?
When you create a new sales document for this customer, the item will be included in your quotation by default.
2. Configure sales documents for automatic item addition.
The settings tab of the "Automatic product" app lets you designate the sales documents to which the customer's item(s) will be automatically applied.
Select "yes" for the type(s) of commercial document(s) in which negotiated items marked "Product added in any new document" should be added.
When the customer's sales document is created, this setting enables the default item to be found.
3. Terms and conditions
Automatic items are added when the part is created.
A modification of a quote, BL or invoice, with a change of customer name, does not apply the addition of automatic items.
Only the creation of the sales document and its first association with a third party, applies the automatic addition of items from your catalog designated as "Product added in any new document" for a defined customer.
