With the"Phone Calls" app, activate the phone numbers present in the application and make outgoing calls directly from each contact and company file.
In just one click, launch the call and make it from the telephone interface connected to your computer. (Skype, Communicator, Msn, others...)
By activating the"Phone calls" app, you can make the phone numbers in your contact and company files clickable, so you can initiate calls via the phone application you're using.
To enable connection with your calling application, start by setting the protocol used by your calling application. To do this, after activating the"Phone calls" app, go to the app's "Home" page.
Two standard protocols are available:"Callto" and"Tel". By default, "Tel" is selected. Select the one corresponding to the phone application you're using. If "Tel" is not selected, click on the "Use Callto protocol" link to update the protocol to be used.
Here are a few examples:
- for Skype, the protocol is "Callto".
- for switchboards: the protocol is "Tel".
When the first call is launched from a contact's file, your browser will ask you to choose the application to be associated with the call launch, if this setting has not already been made in your browser settings.
Select the application you wish to use.
Now you can call a landline or cell phone from your management software!
