The"Dropbox" app lets you synchronize documents on your Virtual Desktop with Dropbox.
What is Dropbox?
Dropbox is an online storage service for documents, photos and videos. Your files are accessible on all your computers, phones and from the Dropbox website. Dropbox also lets you share files with others.
Get files from Dropbox
Once you've installed the Dropbox app, a new button in your file area lets you get files from Dropbox. Click on it, and choose one or more files from your Dropbox account. Confirm, and they'll be transferred to your virtual desktop.
Transfer files to Dropbox
Go to the app's home page and click on the Add Dropbox account button. You will then be able to configure the Dropbox accounts you wish to use in this application.
You have three types of settings:
- Manual: this setting lets you choose Dropbox folders to which you can drop the files of your choice with a single click. Perfect for sharing documents with clients. A small Dropbox icon will be displayed next to each file in your online application. Click on it to choose the Manual folder on which to drop the file.
- Automatic Global: this setting lets you designate a Dropbox folder to which all files uploaded to your application by you or your collaborators will be automatically deposited. Files attached to invoices or other documents will be filed in the corresponding folders. Files marked Personal are not saved to Dropbox.
- Automatic Personal: this setting lets you designate a Dropbox folder to which all files you add to the online application, including personal files, will be automatically deposited.
