Setting warranty periods
With this app, your products have two new pieces of information to capture:
- Length of manufacturer's warranty in months
- Length of customer warranty in months
Automated warranty systems
Each time a product with a serial number is added to stock, if it has a manufacturer's warranty period, the "Manufacturer's warranty end date", calculated from the warranty period and the movement date, is automatically recorded on the serial movement.
Each time a product with a serial number is removed from stock, if it has a customer warranty period, the "Customer warranty end date", calculated from the warranty period and the movement date, is automatically recorded on the serial movement.
