Do you want to separate the management of your stocks of assembled products from their available components?
Assemble your composite products with the "Assemblage" app!
Activating the app adds new links to your product sheets, enabling you to generate component assemblies and regulate your stock.
On your product sheets, you'll find :
- A "New assembly" link in the article's shortcut block
- A "New assembly" button in the "Product composition" block
Assembly creates one or more finished composite products. Assembly can be carried out on a product-by-product basis, or en masse.
When assembling :
- Define the output warehouse for parts
- Choose quantities: 1 or more.
- If required, select the serial and batch numbers of the parts used to assemble your finished products, when assembly is based on 1 quantity.
- Confirm
The assembly process creates a stock issue for the components and generates one or more copies of the composite product as a stock receipt.
If you want to make several assemblies, specifying the batch numbers and part series for each one, there's a "Make another assembly next" checkbox at the bottom of the assembly form. This automatically switches you to the new assembly entry form.
Make sure you update the stock removal management on your "compound products" items and select "Stock management = Compound product in/out".
Settings are available on the app for assembling quotations or production orders.
Additional options are also available for :
- Select components (if a component is declined, for example)
- Scan the serial numbers to be output.
- Do not enter serial numbers resulting from assembly
- Or force assembly on missing quantities on production orders in "Finished" status.
