When you place supplier orders, do you want to automatically update the purchase unit prices on your product sheets?
With the"Supplier price update" app, update your purchase prices in just one click !
Order and apply the new purchase price entered on your purchase order to your items.
Activating the app saves time when updating the unit purchase prices of your products, from a supplier purchase order.
1. 1-click update
When entering a purchase unit price for a product called up in a supplier order, if this price is different from the current price in the product master record, then, after adding the item line :
- an"Update catalog price" link is displayed to update the purchase price of the product sheet.
- clicking on this link automatically updates the new purchase price on the product.
This "Update catalog price" link is only visible when the unit price known to the application is different from that entered in the purchase order you are currently creating.
2. Automatic price update
The updated price list applies to the product, and related purchase conditions, that you have included in your order form.
If you have several suppliers and several purchase prices for an item:
- When you call up the item in the purchase order, it is the price corresponding to the supplier's "Purchase price" field that you integrate into your order.
- Only the purchase price for the supplier concerned is then updated.
If, for an item, you have not entered supplier prices in the "Suppliers and purchasing conditions" block of the supplier master record, but have only entered a cost price (which, for you, is the purchase price because there is only 1 supplier)
- When you call up the item in the purchase order, you are offered the price corresponding to the "cost" field.
- In this case, the update will update the cost price of your product sheet.
