Beyond discounts, does your sales policy include offering products for the purchase of defined quantities?
Can your sales reps offer products to customers based on volumes ordered?
With the "Products on offer" app, determine the number of items on offer according to the quantities purchased, and automatically integrate them into your quotations, sales slips and invoices.
Create your price grids by quantity and associate to each the number of products offered, if this minimum is ordered.
Installation of the app requires the "Fare grids" or "Negotiated customer rates" apps to enable entry of special rates by rate category or customer.
1. Configuration of quantities offered per item
On each product sheet, the "Offered products" app adds a new field to the "Negotiated customer prices" block: Offered Qty.
This "Qty Offered" field completes the definition of an item's price category and, in addition to the "Unit selling price", "Discount", "Quantity" and "Unit" information, allows you to designate the number of items offered when the product quantity is ordered.
For each line :
- Enter the item's unit price (excl. VAT)
- Indicate the quantity for which this rate applies
- Add the quantity offered if this volume is reached or exceeded
- Confirm to save
2. Integration of quantities offered in a quotation/invoice
When you create an estimate or invoice, or add an item, the negotiated rates are proposed to you:
- Call up a product by typing its name or part number
- Select the rate base to be applied according to quantities, from the list that appears
- Your product and its price appear in the editing field: fill in the information
- Adjust the quantity, in particular
- Save to confirm
If the quantity is equal to or greater than the volume allowing free goods, then two lines are added to your sales document for the same item:
- A first line of the paying item with the quantities ordered
- A second line with the items at zero, including the quantities offered
This means that when you convert your quotation into a delivery note, for example, you can also destock your donated products, which will be included in your invoicing documents.
