Do you collect bill of exchange payments? Do you need an LCR-type customer payment file to send to your bank?
With the "Dematerialized bills of exchange" app, you can define an LCR payment format for your invoices and compose the LCR payment file to be sent to your bank.
Activating the app allows you to :
- Designate "LCR - Lettre de Change Relevée" payment types
- Generate CRL file in TXT format
The app lets you create your bills of exchange each month, in the form of a TXT file to be sent to your bank.
1. Definition of Bills of Exchange writing
To create lists of LCR-type due dates in your invoices, in the "Payment schedule" menu, when creating a payment method, select one of the following payment types:
- LCRa - Lettre de Change Relevé Acceptée
- LCRna - Lettre de Change Relevé Non-Acceptée
- Promissory bill
If one of these types is selected, then the due date entry will be integrated into the TXT file of LCR movements generated over a period.
2. Set the Third Party's bank details
This app also requires the "Third-party bank details" app.
With this app, you can record your customers' bank details in their company file, so that you can generate the entry for the bill of exchange.
The bank used by the third party will be used to generate LCR files to be sent to your bank.
3. Creation of CRL lists
To transmit LCR entries and produce the TXT file for transmission to your bank
Go to the home page of the "Effets commerciaux dématérialisé" app and create a new list:
- Give your list a name
- Select "LCR" as maturity type
- Set the date of the entries to be included (start and end)
- Confirm
An operation line is then created, displaying the number of movements concerned and a "Manage" link.
Clicking on "Manage" displays the list of bills of exchange to be remitted over the period, with the option of activating or deactivating each entry.
If any information is missing, this will be indicated, with a link to correct it.
4. Data verification and TXT file generation
To generate an Excel validation file, click on the Excel download links. The Excel format allows you to review and validate entries.
Then generate your LCR TXT file, which contains all the information required for remittance by your bank. Once obtained, transmit this file to your bank.
The TXT file applies the character nomenclature of the entries for direct integration of this TXT file into the banking interface.
5. Closing the list
When the bank has received your file, mark the list as complete.
The corresponding cash receipts are entered on each of your invoices.
