Would you like to configure the delivery address of e-mails sent to your customers from the application to display your own e-mail?
Would you like to archive your quotations and invoices sent via the "mail" function on your professional messaging system?
Use the"Mail Server" app to set up your mail server, as well as your address for sending and receiving emails!
All outgoing e-mails, addressed from the application, will display your e-mail address and will be present in the "outbox" or "sent" box of your mailbox.
To configure your mail server and delivery address, go to the "Home" tab in the "Mail server" app.
Please indicate :
- Your SMTP server, i.e. the outgoing mail server for your e-mail service. It usually looks like this: smtp.domain.com
- Your Port: there are 3 port numbers for sending servers, which the app lets you select according to your mailbox.
- Domain name: this dimension is optional, but it's the domain name of your e-mail address.
- Your account, i.e. your e-mail address, such as nom_prénom@domain.com
- Your password: this is the password for your e-mail account.
- Your reply-to address, for messages sent to you by customers responding to your emails.
You can then test your configuration. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you specified in your settings.
Then all that's left to do is send your quotes and invoices!
App settings:
By default, each user must set their own sending server.
If only one person is authorized to manage these settings for all users, select them in the "Settings" tab.
Message deliverability:
Additional settings, such as SPF, may be required for the mail server to function properly.
A "Deliverability Diagnostic" link is present on each conversation, below the button for validating message sending.
It opens a page detailing all the elements you need to take into account to check that your messages have been properly received by your contacts.
