Do you need to manage your stock of packing supplies?
Would you like to add accessories or documentation to be included when sending your products to customers, and manage inventory?
With the "Packaging and consumables association" app, you can simply remove consumables from stock.
Installation of the "Packaging and consumables association" app, enables you to manage consumables and accessories stock releases linked to your production or sales.
When the app is activated, a new "Associate consumables" menu is added to the shortcut block of the sales document on which you wish to perform a consumable output.
1. App setup
Start by setting the object on which you want to be able to manage the output of consumables and accessories or packaging.
Indicate yes to activate the stock removal function for consumables on production orders, quotations, BLs etc.
To do this, go to the "app settings" tab.
2. Definition of a consumable
A consumable is defined as a product in the"supplier" catalog, whose product"category" on the product sheet is: consumable.
This module enables you to issue products linked to marketing, entering your inventory management, but not directly marketed. Finished products, semi-finished products and other supplies cannot be removed from stock using this operation. These other types of supplier items cannot be called up and removed from stock using this operation. Similarly, it will not be possible to remove catalog products from stock via this specific stock removal link.
If the "Issue consumable stock on production order" setting is "yes", then a "Link consumables" link is added to the shortcut block of each production order.
3. Operation
Clicking on the "Associate consumables" link brings up a page listing all the company's consumables, enabling you to design the quantities to be removed from storage for each one.
For each item.
- Define the quantity to be issued for each consumable. Boxes left empty or set to zero do not issue any stock.
- Choose the associated batch or serial number
- Designate destocking warehouse
On validation, the "consumables" goods issue movement is created.
The consumable stock removal posting then displays the list of stock removals with quantities in the "Stock movement" block of the part.
