Would you like to allocate your production of goods or services to members of your application?
Use the"Scheduling" app to control and coordinate your production!
Assign sales-related production or service tasks to each application user, and visualize the timeline view if necessary.
Activating the app adds a "scheduling" menu in the "Production" tab, on which: ?
- The list of production lines from your production orders is displayed.
- Allows you to assign each line to be produced to a user member of your application
Use the "drag and drop" function to pick up and move a production line from a user on the list. The production order will then be added to the user's change plan.
This page displays only the production line for Production Orders with the status "to be produced" or "in production".
Each employee can then view his or her production of goods or services from the "Production follow-up" menu. Each project can be marked as completed.
Timeline view
The Timeline view is a drag-and-drop interface for moving your production items around and taking advantage of automatic adjustments based on production schedules and capacities. It is used in conjunction with the "Production Resource Management" app.
To activate the Timeline view, go to the app preferences and click on "Activate Timeline view". This will bring up the "Timeline scheduling" menu in the "Production / Production orders" menu.
You will then need to make additional settings to the app:
- Select your company's working days
- Set the working time
- Choose a number of events per time slot
Next, go to the "Production resource management" app, and set the capacity of each resource.
Finally, your Production Orders (or lines, depending on the settings in the "Scheduling" app) in "To be produced" status will be ready to be drag-and-dropped onto the Timeline area. You can double-click on them to edit the information, or move the Timeline events to recalculate the resulting production.
