Project planning

Plan your projects with phases

Are you a service provider working in project mode? Do you need to plan and coordinate short- and medium-term resources?

With the "Project Planning" app, organize project stages, manage resources and visualize the Gantt.

Schedule the phases and sub-phases and the resources allocated to each of your projects, then edit the visual in Gantt format. Optimize your time and resources.

Activating the app on the application allows you to :

  • Build your project management schedules
  • Allocate human and material resources
  • View your project schedules in Gantt format

1. Create a project schedule

The app lets you manage a schedule made up of phases and resources, and visualize it over time.
Each schedule is made up of phases and sub-phases. These phases may or may not have fixed start and end dates.

To create a schedule, go to the app's home page.

  • Name your project
  • Associate the company with the project
  • Validate, and you can then define the phases and sub-phases of your projects and associate resources.

By default, the application creates a "main phase" for a project, which you can rename and use to compose the first stage of your project.

To create phases, click on the "new phase" button and fill in the period description and calculation format.

To create sub-phases, click on the "new sub-phase" link and complete the description.

2. Integrate resources into your phases

A resource is a worker from the personnel register, a worker from outside the company, a car, equipment, etc. Anything you need to mobilize to carry out your project.

For each phase and sub-phase, you can integrate material or human resources.

In your schedule, on each sub-phase, an "add resources" link allows you to call up the resource used in your resource manager, for which you are going to associate time spent.

  • Select resource
  • Add
  • Then program the resource usage time

For each phase or sub-phase, the duration is defined in hours or half-days, starting from a start date.
Entering this information enables you to position the period in which each phase takes place in your schedule.

When there are several sub-phases within a phase, the total phase duration is calculated automatically.

3. View schedule

To view your schedule, click on the "View schedule" link in the shortcut block of your schedule to consult the Gantt.

In addition, the "days not worked" app lets you adapt the application to each company, taking into account only days worked in your project management.
